A Happy Valentine's Day favor,
like the one pictured here,
was made and delivered to
each resident of the
Hudson Christian
Community
 Home.
  ❤️

February ❤️ has always been a month when Hudson Women's Club celebrates "Music & Love" with the residents of Hudson's Christian Community Home.
This year, due to the pandemic, other plans were implemented.

Members of the HWC Board of Directors got together the week before
Valentine's Day ❤️ to make individual favors for each resident at CCH.

Deborah L. Tonsager   Therapeutic Recreation Manager/Music Therapist at the Christian Community Home, personally delivered each gift to the residents on Friday, Feb. 12.

Another awesome Zoom!!!

MARCH program
featuring KAY TIMM, owner.

newly expanded Grande Fête store as well as
a cooking demonstration of Crispy Hasselback Potatoes!

On April 13, 2021, Becky Durham,
from "RE/MAX Realty"
was our Zoom guest, speaking and answering questions on "Inventory Insanity ... the Hudson housing market, and who is an I-Buyer anyway?"

Wow!  She had excellent information to share.  Even for those who aren't in the market at this time, there is much new info in today's real estate market, and there are many things of which we should be aware, especially ads you see on TV ~ might not be all they seem to be.

On May 18, Sarah Bruch, co-owner of the "Purple Tree" in Hudson, shared an amazing Zoom hour with us!

"Purple Tree" is a local, downtown Hudson business, but there is more to "Purple Tree" than meets the eye!  It is a Unique specialty store with fantastic peace, fair trade, eco-friendly, and social justice items.
A family owned and operated business that promotes products that are good for the planet and good for people!

The summer saw something new for Hudson Women's Club ....
SUMMERTIME CHATS!

In June, the lawn of the historic Octagon House provided a lovely venue.  July set the Chat at Weitkamp Park on a perfect summer evening, and in August, the Cracked Barrel Winery proved to be a great location.
With cookies and lemonade, the Summertime Chats proved to be a great way to get to know one another, share stories, laugh, and relax.

This photo was from the 3rd Summertime Chat at the Cracked Barrel Winery.
The Summertime Chats were a hit and will probably make a comeback next summer!
